Today, after a lot of laps around it, I have a freeze driving by where I drove a lot of times before without any problem.
I understand that those things happens rarely cause the error can be very little but exists, so I want to take advantage of this situation now to fix the possible error and not make those kinds of tracks where the freezes appears when the track is public.
May be it was just a casuality and the freeze can happens on Monza papy, but I guess is not the case.
The freeze was total. I need to turn off GPL by Ctrl+Alt+Del

Here the trk around where the freeze occurs:
(I went by the right side of the track, is a clockwise track, of the marked section)

Is a place with a lot of altitudes changes:

I have there a little lateral gap of -1. Could be this the cause?
I have all around the track orientations gaps of 0; some lateral gaps of 1 or -1 and some longitudinal gaps, all negatives, of -1 and -2. Thats ok?

Thanks.

Your gaps are OK, I can say that's not the problem.
Did you drove on the grass inside?

More like a FB file issue
Check also the SET file
to see if there are too many polygons drawn in that area.
To decrease the polys you can try to use unk4 2 for the asphalt where it cuts all those traces; for that to look right you need to have it on one single plane , not too easy :)

These are my .set values:
100.0
300.0
20.0
10.0
100.0
20.0
0.1
50000
80000
7000

Just curious for me that the 4th value be lower than 3rd.
In the GPLEA Track Creating Tutorial, the 5th is greater than 4th and the 4th is greater than 3rd.

These are the values in my .fb that would be those around the freeze point:
875.0 1150.0 800.0 0.0
875.0 1150.0 800.0 0.0
875.0 650.0 800.0 0.0
900.0 500.0 800.0 0.0
875.0 370.0 800.0 0.0

Extrange for me that some 2nd vaules be grater than 1st.

Yes, I havent in this section al the asphalt in the same plane to let me use just one triangle.

Why you are curious, where did you get those values?Posted Image
Luna described a behavior of the doZ SET file that was opposite than the previous versions but I was never able to compile a track with his values so I can't help you about the reverse size in those values; I usually use 3 constant numbers that vary from 70 to 30 meters long ( depending if the track is flat or very undulate.
The angle you have set at 0.1 can be increased, I love the 0.03 value,   Jim Pearson said that for Dundrod he used 0.06 - 0.8 adding the unk4 values that increase by 2 or 5 in particular blocky turns

Did you build the FB file or is a sort of copy paste?
Consider that if is like a hairpin that you can see the track in both directions, you need to do the 3rd value same as the 2nd and the 4th same as the 1st to avoid freezes or CTDs when you have such big values as yours.
For other occasions you don't need to have a 3rd and 4th at all.
Anyway, try to use a FB file that have the correct number of entries ( 1 every 39.01m) and use the shortest view possible.
Being in beta stage, I usually use a constant value FB, around
500 300 0 0
And then slowly adjust it as long the work proceed.

Nothing is sure thoughPosted Image
