Thanks Stefan, we need a private subforum for modders like we have here, so I think Greg, Richard, Lee and some others (after registration) should have access...

You are welcome. :)
No problem. I will give Greg, Richard, Lee and others (?) Moderator rights so they can have access.
How shall I call the subforums in the private section?
Just tell me what you need and you will get it... well most of it. :D

ginetto, Remy, Pavel and Tom you have now Super Moderator rights and should be the only one who have access to the private section of the forum.

Greg pls test if you can still see and access the private section. Now you shouldn`t be able to do so anymore. Sorry. :)

Pls report.

Lee I have activated your account.
Usually no activation is needed by an admin. Seems like your IP was suspicious. :D

:)
Richard you and all can of course attach files up to 8 MB to the forum.
How small are your files?

Even so it would be great if the mod files could be stored at a cloud where they can be accessed by the mod team. And an additional backup won't hurt. ;)

I can check if there is a free cloud option via our domain provider included in the contracts that could be usefull for us. Btw GPLRACER and GPLWORLD are both hosted by DomainFactory with separate contracts.

How much space would we need?

Should we post there the current files for every mod in progress?

It is actually not intended as a data backup, rather than a forum to be able to stay in contact when the others are down.
The forum has a Max. Upload / POST Limit of 8M

Edit: How about puting it in the cloud?
With Dropbox, Google Drive, ...?
I just did a quick research. There are several cloud storage services/provider, but the problem is that it has to be free and many users (mod team) need to have access to it. And how much storage space you can use for free (1 GB / 5 GB / 25 GB / 50 GB)?

Any ideas? :)
