As of this morning, I am still getting the Error that Remy first reported.  I am also unable to U/L any files to attach to my posts.

EDIT: Correction ... I am not getting the Database Error - I am getting an Error when trying to Upload files, both to Forum topics and Private messages.

hello everyone :)
thanks to Ginetto for adding me... i think i had permissions for SRMZ, but not Repository, or never tried :P  what you all do here is magic to me and only can wish i could help.
anyway, i wanted to say the best way to contact me is via email (bobruce@comcast.net) or second a PM via Facebook.

as i am retired, i have much (!) free time. i am at computer most of mornings (9am-1pm.. NY time) and then check regular thru the day, and again on most of evenings (from 8p-midnite)

do not hesitate to contact me, if it is regard to contacting Bill - he assures me it is not a problem to call him (i try NOT to too often) .. but not while he is at work... so i sometimes just send him a text msg.
for me, its no big deal and i have the luxury to check email/ FB at least hourly :)

Yes, I see that it's not possible to attach any files to posts.

I just hope that is something Bill temporarily changed so he can fix it better.

Yes Greg, the errors are popping up both here, srmz and speedgeezers and Bill is looking into it.
Lets hope he will find the cause and a solution. fingers crossed...

A big Thank You in advance to everyone working to fix this problem, and for generally keeping things running here on SRMZ

Thanks everyone who worked on fixing the database error.

I have noticed that since the site got back up and running though that the little button to the left of the post listings that takes you to the first unread post seems to have disappeared. Is there any chance that this could get put back as I find it a really handy feature to pick up reading from where I last looked at any given thread!

Cheers,
Rob

+1

I guess only Bill can fix that really useful feature :)

All back to normal here for me, and I have the handy little go to first unread button back again! Did the banner at the very top of the forum change? Something looks very subtly different from before, but anyway, all good here again, so thank you again so much Bill!

Rob, yes, the banner has been missing since Bill fixed the web site.  There was a place-holder graphic (very small).  Now, ginetto has given us a new, beautiful logo and text for our 'home'.  :)
