Is there an easy way to remove a 3do object from a track, as with an "invisible" mip? Or does this require complex editing of the main track file(s)? In other words, I'd like to remove the bridge from an exiting track. Can that be done, and if so, how?
Thanks for any help.

Brentgpl you can try to replace the bridge 3do by dummy 3do object. I could not find a way to remove objects from the track, only replace.

As Gaus says the easy method is make a small single poly .3do with a small invisible texture and name it to the object you want to hide.
Or you an cut the 3do out of the track with GPL track editor but that is more complicated

Paul's method of making a small poly is what ginetto did for me to use as an 'invisible' 3do.
Here it is:

Thank you everyone for the advice. That transparent 3do did the trick!
