Adding grass

Hi, How can I add the new grass textures? I read the winmip thing but I didn't figure how to do it...

any help??

You have to find the file name of the grass you want to change; usually is grass.mip but not always, sometimes there are several different files with diffeent names for the grass ( with GPL Image Viewer you can see all the mip, srb, pbf textures easily, get it if you don't have it already ;) ).

Then you take your preferred grass and, if is a .mip file already, just name it as the file you want to change; if is just a .bmp file you have to use winmip to convert it to mip giving it the same Mapp. value of the original one [if the original files are in the <trackname>.dat, you have to open it; winmip does this (Extras->Unpack) I use doodat (more complete) for this].

Remember that, if you convert a bmp file , GPL read just power of 2 pixel size , like 8, 16, 32, 64, ... 1024, ...; so check and fix it before to transform it in mip.

Least, you put the file in the track directory.

Done, load GPL and have fun!  :)
