What I would like to see is the same attempt, but with last year's 919 Hybrid as per the regulations at the time.
I wonder what that difference would be and also what kind of time it would produce. It's a bit like, bring out the
917/30, dial the boost to close to max and see what time that results in.

And here I was kinda thinking that Toyota might have a realistic change at taking the laurels home this year :)
The Rebellions sure are strong considering they ran in a class of their own last year. Also worth noting that
some of the LMP2s are running laptimes in the slower LMP1 bracket - just ~10 seconds shy of the fastest
The predicted weather is giving me a slight fit though. Of the 7 or so years I've been there since 2009, this
year looks a tad wet and coldish (at this time anyway). I'm hoping for another scorcher :) as I want to do some
sightseeing along the way. Maybe drop by the oldtimer GP at the Nurburgring the same weekend (kinda on
the way - a friend is among the organizers) and maybe stop by either Rouen or Reims. Reims would be en
route if I'm going via the 'ring....

You were there? Awesome! After some fiddling with the bits, I managed to record / download it off of youtube. Not really checked it
yet tho. 28 gigs of video from Sunday.

That's the good stuff. I have recorded last year's Goodwood festival and that was poo. It was just cars doing
demo runs along the circuit while I was hoping for these race type things. Man was I disappointed after 3 days
of recording to have mostly boring stuff on disk. I deleted everything. Now I'll try this, currently racing 30's Alfas
and Bugattis and whatnot.
Thank you for the note and the link! Currently the 250 "Breadvan" is chasing an E-Type brilliant to see these
cars actually being driven as intended.

In Topic: How to I get started creating patches?

Of all the programming languages I have learned (and forgotten) assembler ranks #1 in terms of potential
speed but also #1 in terms of difficulty, especially for logic. So absolute kudos to you, Lee, for doing the
patches in assembler.
Back in the day when I was still involved in the (computer) demo scene on PC (mid to late 1990s) we used
to do the logic with C or some other high level language and the actual pixel output via assembler inserts
within routines... Mode 13h, ah memories from a long distant part of my um youth I suppose
